BLS CPR Class

Service Description

Our BLS class is intended for individuals that work in the healthcare field. This includes doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, dentists, pharmacists, CNAs, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapist, medical or nursing students and other medical personnel. It focuses on a variety of topics, including: * How to perform adult, child and infant CPR * How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) * How to respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies and special resuscitation situations * Support for conscious and unconscious choking victims In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a BLS Provider course completion card, valid for two years.
